Early Sunday morning at the boat
I am going for grooming today 🙂
Lovely picture of sunset at the dock. The time was 9pm. Amazing how long the days get during late spring/summer in Canada
When I woke up at the crack of dawn on Saturday and wandered off my boat on the docks, I noticed a turtle laying eggs on the shore. She dug a hole for an hour, laid eggs, covered up the hole and left. When the Starport staff arrived, they saw it too and promptly sealed off the area to protect the newly buried eggs to maximize the chances of survival of the young turtles when they hatch. It was amazing to see Starport Severn being so environmentally friendly.
Docked for the night at the marina
I am an early riser to enjoy the sunrise and watch the fog and mist lifting from the lake.
Bonaire is a truly wonderful island and Buddy Dive Resort is the icing on the cake. Amazing memories.
Getting ready for a shore dive in this fantastic dive destination as a storm lurks in the background. The dive proceeded like nothing is happening on the surface. It is often calmer past 15 feet and one doesn’t know what they are in store for at the surface 🙂
The Jack Sparrow is changing names… stay tuned 🙂
